Tonight I have updated the Text Fiction page with a new sub-category or sub-section layout. Now, original works will be separated from fan-fictions unless a part of a “collection”.
Basically, there is a section for novelized original stories, novelized fan-fictions, collections of original & fan-fiction shorts, original shorts, and fan-fiction shorts .
This will help divide up the page so that viewers may tell if they are about to read an original work or a fan-fic based on a game, TV show, etc.
The exception to this new format is the Collection group. Collections are several one-shot stories that have a binding similarity. For instance, my collection titled Mod Fiction is thus far two fan-fic stories I wrote based on our own mods GargArena and Cat-Life. And I might add more shorts at a later time.
The second Collection are two new submissions by Syrus Rayne. Untitled Stories is a collection with, at this time, two original one-shot stories.
So if you’re looking for some good fiction, stop by our text fiction page.

Well, we have a bit more Battlefield news today.
Today was indeed the day for the PSN release of the latest Battlefield title… Battlefield 1943. The XBox launch was yesterday.
We PC gamers won’t find a release until the fall due to a fan outcry against “another console port”. DICE listened and have been changing the PC version into more of a fitting stand-alone PC game.
While this should have been done from the start, at least they gave in and made this decision after-the-fact.
So, how is Battlefield 1943, a game that is basically a multiplayer engine demo of the upcoming Bad Company 2 full game? Well, the reviews are fairly positive and a friend of mine had the chance to try the limited XBox trial. He swears it is a much better game then Bad Company. He stated that the engine is better then any of their previous titles. He says they have vastly improved the frostbite engine since Bad Company.
The graphics are excellent and the game play is as good as the original Battlefield 1942. Fun!
Here’s a look at the trailers for each of the three console maps and the Community Challenge. Also, check out the release trailer at the bottom.

I can’t wait for the PC version this September.

Once again, it’s time for another site news round-up.
First, I’ve updated the site banner. That is partly because I finished the version 1.0 BWL Skin Pack. It is located in the forums. Future installments will include both charatcers and other forumites.
Unfortunately, because of the file size… I used FileFront and it is buggy as hell. Follow the link and try to get them. And if you get some Oblivion mod file… just follow the link again.
Here’s the forum thread… http://www.bwldevelopment.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=726
And if this business continues with FileFront, I’ll try MediaFire.
Second, In addition to our two new stories I wrote about last week… we also have two new wallpapers for BWL.

Third, I have created a new forum in the Office Complex section. The new Studio Offices forum his host to several project oriented sub-forums. “Job Boards” will be posted there looking for help in specific video projects.
Then, a subforum dedicated to the project but un-readable to the outside world will be created. I have three such “private” project forums now. And only members who have agreed to work on the projects will be able to enter and discuss filming dates, scripts, details, etc.
I’m going to end this entry here as I need to get to work on that MediaFire upload.
