Required GMod Add-ons -- Discontinued

To play on our GMod server [BWL Central] you need a number of add-ons. YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THESE BEFORE YOU TRY TO JOIN. If you try to join without them, it will take a very long time to download these and worse, the process will often crash the server.

Why? It's simple. Some of these add-ons are fairly large and / or have new models and textures. The more data we try to download, the less resources the server has for the actual gameplay. The main point here is that you could spend a very long time waiting for these add-ons and cause our server to crash. So download them here first.


SVN Needs:
To start, if you don't already have Wire Mod and PHX 3 [which is unlikely since pretty much everyone has these now] then install them. They both use SVN now and both should have some form of install tutorial available to you.

Install Wire mod, PHX, and the GHD first. Then continue...


SCars:
Next, be sure to install SCars. It's a great car add-on that allows us to make a variety of cars and vehicles with multiple seats, paint jobs, tires, and so forth. And the cars can be made destructible in a GTA fashion. This will likely be the bulk of our Machinima car supply... So get it.

BWL Collected Add-ons:
Next, grab these add-on "packs" of mods I have collected for your comfort. Just extract them into your "garrysmod/garrysmod/" folder. Some of these add-ons may not be in use do to server issues recently. However, they are worth having and they could be put into use for our video projects at any time.

You will likely already have many of these addons, but there are many that you may not or that are not current. These packs are all set up on the server and running for our machinima purposes... so you'll need them. And they are all very much fun, so... yeah...

Finally, you will want to pick up the BWL Content that is installed on our server. This list will grow as we complete Machinima specific skin packs and the like.

Okay guys, I updated tonight to include the Gravity Hull Designator in our SVN add-ons.

This tool is a nifty little trick script that should make our vehicles a little less buggy in terms of collisions, and will make it possible to make floors that can be placed pretty much anywhere in any position. This means creative track designs, functional space craft with artificial gravity, etc.

This tool is currently beta, so keep that in mind.

Well... Thanks to the DOJ or whoever in our government decided to take down megaupload our addon packs are no longer available. Sorry guys... I don't plan to reupload these elsewhere for a while. It's too much for my unstable dsl right now. At best, I may try over the weekend.
